Canada turns 150 years old. The people in the picture are celebrating in a parade and now around the country the people of Canada are celebrating their 150th Anniversary. Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is making a speech about Canada’s 150 years
                     What Is Canada’s Day?
Canada Day, held on 1 July each year, marks the merging of four former British colonies into a single new country. It is a national holiday.
The country grew in size in the years that followed, and finally achieved complete autonomy from the UK in 1931. It was not until 1982, however, that the British parliament transferred final legal powers to Canada, including the power to amend its constitution.
Now in Canada on July 1st the people are now doing partys, fireworks and having fun. But why?. Because it is their tradition and they do it every year.
